Active Fundraising Campaigns

Mercy Beyond Borders believes that educating women and girls produces the most bang for the buck, no matter where, no matter how. Here’s how you can help:

Tuition for Girls

  • $300 pays for a high school scholarship in South Sudan or in Haiti.
  • $750 supports a pre-nursing intern at the remote Kuron Medical Clinic for a year
  • $2,000 supports a girl in college for one year in South Sudan (room/board/tuition); note that this is an average—costs range from $1,000 to $6,000 depending on the college.

Literacy for Women

  • $150 pays a literacy teacher for a month
  • $250 buys supplies (chalk, t-shirts, books, or radios) for a class

Extras

  • $ 40 buys sanitary napkins for a year so a girl can go to class every day of the month
  • $150 pays a teacher to staff a library during after-school hours for a year
  • $200 buys a rugged bicycle for girls in South Sudan to get to school ($120 to buy + $80 to ship to Sudan).

Tech
