I am confused of what to do… By Majur Anyuon

Mapuordit displaced“When the fighting occurred between Dinka and Jur people, my people were displaced and the whole village of Aguran where I used to live was burnt. All the properties of my family were taken and my cousin was killed in the fight. In my store eight bags of groundnuts, eleven bags of grains, two bags of beans and one barrel of oil burnt in the fire. Five goats were taken and all the sleeping materials were burnt. Even a bag where was my primary and secondary certificates plus other documents was burnt. For this I am confused of what to do. Those of my people who used to live in the village and put their lives on what being cultivated are now displaced. They come to Mapuordit here under my care while I am schooling. I am in form 4 [senior year of high school] and wish I can finish the last year. My people have no seeds, food and they only put their trust on me as a strong person in the family who can go and bring what can help them in their life in this time. So now I am deeply requesting you to assist me.”
