Educating women and girls powers everything we do in the field. Why? Because it’s the single most effective intervention for lifting families up from extreme poverty, period.  We support all-girl primary schools in South Sudan and Haiti. We offer scholarships for girls to study in high schools and universities. We bring literacy classes to adult women in remote villages. We operate computer labs for girls and women.

More…. Keeping girls in school means saving them from early marriage and early death. It means allowing them to learn and grow and develop a wholesome sense of their own dignity. It means bringing their talents to the development of their homelands. It means that when they marry, they will have fewer children, healthier children, better educated children, and a higher standard of living. Education is everything!
